I'm looking for a quality AR flat-top mount for my compact ACOG w/special ring base. ARMS, GG&G and LaRue all make mounts for the M16 base, but I cant seem to find one for the "special ring" model. The thumbscrew Trijicon mount (MM08) is my only option at this point...I'm hoping to find another one.

The Trijicon is a good option. What do you not like about it?

I was hoping someone made a QD-type mount for a 'Special Base' compact ACOG similar to below-

If there are no other mounting options, I will be exchanging my ring model ACOG for an M16 base model and get the mount below. The LaRue mount is about the same price as the Trijicon thumbscrew model, and looks MUCH sturdier.
