Early 2006 but only done through the custom shop. It will not be available in the standeard product line so your scope will need to be sent up.

We are talking about the CQ/T, it can be outfitted with a custom ret. through our custom shop. It will have the same outer circle, cross hairs that come into the center that remain slightly open like our TMR with yard line indicators on the 6 o'clock horizontal duplex line going out to 700 yards.

and why the change in plans? Word before was standard offering, possibly negligible cost to replace reticle if this does come out.... |

I thought it was going to get the SPR. So will this top out close to $1000 when all is done? It's getting kinda spendy. Most importantly, can it be mounted lower? That high mount is a deal killer in and of itself for many of us. It needs a low mount. |

Price will be about $165.00 I think. It won't be offered for about two or three months I am guessing. The reticule is being finalized. It is NOT the SPR reticule although if you opened up the center instead of the dot it would be close. It is opened in the center like the TMR.

Sure hope you guys are keeping the thick outer circle, that's what make the CQ/T works in close range, not the skinny circle of the SPR.

If it mounts high I can always just pretend I am shooting a AK with a Russian scope.  As my negative experiances with other scope brands grow I keep coming back to Leupold. |

I know, $165.00 is not the best price. Perxonally I was pushing to have it offered in the standard line but I am just a PFC in the company rank stucture. I am pushing for a mid year release but can't promise. Sorry guys, we'll keep working on it. Feel free to email the Leupold custom shop and demand it go into standard line production. |

 If I understand Jerod correctly the outer ring on the "production" reticle will be thicker, the same as the standard CQT. |
