Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Butler Creek Flip Cover on a tactical?

 Will a cover like this work on an IOR 4x14x50 scope?  The objective would work just fine I think but I was wondering about the eyepiece.  With the diopter set it seems so far back like maybe the lense cover wouldn't be deep enough.  Also the rubber ring around the eyepiece seems like it maybe a problem.

 Will they work? Is there a better alternative? Am I stuck with the bikini cover that came with it?
