Larue, LMT or Bushmaster fixed rear sight ?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Larue, LMT or Bushmaster fixed rear sight ?

Looking for a primary fixed rear sight. Don't want a carry handle. Disadvantage to the Larue - no elevation adj. Disadvantage to LMT - price. Disadvantage to the Bushmaster - can't see one. Anybody help on this one? I'm really thinking the Bushy is going to be the way to go. Any supplier other than Bushmaster directly? I'll probably pick up a Same Plane Aperture and some other stuff at the same time. I HATE paying S&H for a bunch of little stuff. THANKS.

If your shooting out past 300M's then the LT is not a good choice. If your not then it is the best choice for a FIXED BUIS.

Don't plan to shoot past 300. What then is the advantage to the LMT? I intend to make ONE purchase on this. If the LMT is $30 more, then so be it. I just don't see $30 worth of advantage over the Bushy, yet. Thanks.

Well since you are NOT shooting past 300m's than the LT BUIS is the best choice. The LMT would only be the better choice as it gives you elevation.

Less parts. Smaller overall. Less weight.

Not that the LMT is junk. It is a nice, well built sight. I would certainly take it second.
