My new EOTech 512's 1 minute red dot looks like a tilted "v" or "y" rather than a dot. Is that normal?

I get that if the brightness is really high and I do wear glasses and have astigmatism

I had a few people look at it. All of them said the same thing.

God, those pictures just mess me up.

both circles look the same size, but the rifles are way different in perspective!

I really need to use one firsthand...

Mostly inside. Once outside, I was busy shooting.

The big 65" ring looks good, but the middle dot appears to be a tilted "v"

That's the thing.

You can have the rifle sitting 6 feet from you with the EOTech on and look through it and the circle looks the same size, it's just filling the entire window.

If you snug your eye up as close as possible to the EOThingy, it still looks the same size.

Really wierd how they did it.
