Looks good, one of these may be in my future...

I have an 900a. The lens is cracked, but it functions flawlessly. I have less than 1 hr on it, the damage was from it being droppd while moved from one storage place to another. Drop me a line if you're interested.

I'll always second guess my decision to sell my 900.  I had no problem with the ARMs lever though.  It was actually easier to manipulate than the tight lever on my LR Aimpoint ring.  I trust it better for optics though.

This mount can be used to replace any ARMS 17 mount?
Dimensionally, height above rail, how do they compare?
Will they make a 17S replacement as well?

I'm a loyal ARMS customer and have LT products as well, I don't see why anyone needs to hate one to love the other.
As to the LT mount for SF lights, I'll keep the ARMS mount on my three M96x, one M95x, and the M900.  If they develope problems I'll get SF to replace them.  Changing for the sake of change is wasteful (to me).

Yep I've seen an ARMS 19S mount loose on not just the shooter's upper but my own as well.  As to the throw lever breaking, can anyone say the same will NEVER happen to a LaRue lever?  It's difficult to create perfection and 100%, and kind of naive to expect it.

LaRue levers aren't allowed to break like that.   That type of fracture® has been patented!!

Buy whatever pleases you; I do, but the promotional B.S. needs to be reined in once in a while, by verifiable facts.  Showing a damaged product of some company is easy, but to do so in promotion of another, that is basically a copy of the one damaged, is a pretty ignorant promotion.            Show us a product that can't be broken, then we can be impressed.  Under normal circumstances and use, an M16/ M4 will malfunction before any mount,  we hear it all the time.  Does it mean we shoud discard the real M16/M4's with real  high combat success track record? I think not!

And if ARMS mounts were worth their salt in the first place, Larue would never have been asked to develop their improved designs. In addition, within the short amount of time Larue has been in the mount business they have grown their product offering substantially, and continually improved on them as well (new revision Aimpoint ring and locking throw lever for example).
