Getting a FN PBR in .308 with 20" bbl.  Will be shooting Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr. BTHP ammo.  Should I use a Burris 4-12X40 ballistic plex that I already have or order a Super Sniper 10X?  Most shots 100-200yards.

I have never used a mil-dot reticle and am fairly sure that the ballistic plex will go 100-200-300-400-500 yards when sighted in at 100 yards with the stated ammo.

I've heard lotsof good things about the Super Sniper, that's why I'm asking.  Thanks in advance!

I have never used the Burris optic that you have mentioned. But, I do like my SS 10X42 rear focus.

the super sniper would have more than plenty elevation adjustments for the long range shots.
my vote is going to the supersniper 10x42m side focus

I've got a SS 10x42 on an M25 and am extremely pleased with it.  Order SWFA's guide to using the Mil-dot if you're unfamiliar.  It explains it very well.  Bottom line, an outstanding scope for the money.  Good luck.

How about a Leupold? I am leary of anything with Tasco or Burris written on it.

I like Leupolds and have a Vari-X II 2-7X on a Winchester Model 70 deer rifle in .308 but a Leupold good enough to put on this rifle is out of my price range.  I had just heard so many good things about the Super Sniper that I wanted ya'lls input.  The Burris would kinda be "free" since I already have it.  The tick marks on the lower vertical crosshair post of the Burris  act as mil-dots, don't they?  It is on a Remington Model Seven .223 right now and it hits pretty close to the tick marks at 300, 400, 500, 600 when sighted in at 200.  I'm gonna sell the Model Seven anyhow so it doesnt matter if I take the Burris off of it.
