Tripower is currently made of unobtanium in it's updated configuration. So, I guess the real question is do you need an optic now, or later?

Just for the record my dealer has in stock right now 6 3rd generation Tripowers
2nd for the price of a Trijicon ACOG I could have both the Aimpoint AND Tripower

But thanks for your  input

Also not looking for a "scope"
AND the tripower needs no batteries because it's a Trijicon

Compared to the current TriPowers, I'd say M3 with the 2MOA dot.

Just my opinion.

I received my new ML3 2moa today.  I was a little irritated at first because I had ordered the M3. The seller was willing to overnight me the correct scope, but I decided to keep the "L" and get $60. refunded.  I really don't think I'm ever going to use the night vision stuff.

A local dealer had the M2 4moa. I didn't shoot it, but the dot did look a little big to me. I'm glad I waited the couple of days and got the 2moa. Had a blast shooting it.  It's so easy to use that it felt like cheating!

I've got an M3 with the Aimpoint magnifier right now but I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the new version of the Tripower. I think it could make a great combo with the Aimpoint magnifier.
