Best optic for a Colt 6450?

What would be the best optic for a Colt 6450 that would be around $200 give or take $50 or so.

A much better question is: what kind of scope will fulfill my shooting requirements?

You could plop anything you want on that rifle, more or less.

You've definded your budget, that's an important first step...so now, define what kind of shooting you'll be doing, and you'll get better answers as to what you need.

BTW, I don't know anything about Colts, so tell me that is, in terms of barrel length, etc.

but since the 6450 is an a1 upper it would limit your options a bit or would make it heavy to mount whatever you want

i plan on mounting a compact acog on mine but thats obviously out of your said price range.

look in the rimfire&pistol caliber forum for some ideas

i was atually thinking about the arms rail with an eotech, would be the first i have owned.

dont take to mounting traditional tube scopes in the carryhandle too much
