I like iron sights, but when shooting at dusk recently, I found the front sight difficult if not impossible to see.

Does anyone have any experience with tritium type sights?  I've got Meprolight sights on my Glock and they seem to work well.

I notice that Trijicon and Meprolight both make AR sights.

Are these worthwhile, durable, etc.?

Thanks for your input.

PS:  Rifle is a standard 16" A2 type.

Use a flashlight instead.

Takes an entirely different method of aiming and is a pain in the ass to learn and counterproductive as it removes time from other more productive training.  I used to be a fan but trying to learn 2 different POA to hit with the same tirons got old real quick and you cant remember after you quit using them after a while when under stress.
