Am I missing something here. I have only 1500 rounds under it. It has been to the range a handfull of times and not mistreated. Took it out and it would not turn on, thought it was just the batteries, changed them(three times) but didnt help. I thought I may have hit the NV button but dont think so. Any sugestions/tricks to try before I send it back? TIA

Update: Called in and left a voicemail. Got a reply in a couple of hours. The fix: take out the batteries for 5 minutes let the capaciter lose its charge. The computer system resets and all is well. Eotech rocks

If the batteries are not in correct I hope he won't be climbing in the back of my jet anytime soon.

Then again.... I have "fixed" alot of pilot and wizzo issues with some "switchology."

"Sir, have you tried cycleing the switch?"

"That wierd chief, it just started working all on its own."

Just kidding sir, just alittle Elmendorf Crew Chief humor!

I would then have to concur with sending it back to EOT.  I know a guy who's EOT went down, and IIRC it ended up being one of the battery contacts.
