My boss bought the old atec with illuminated recticle. I was really impressed. I just got the new Cabelas and they list a new version. I called to order it but they don't have it in stock. I like the illuminated recticle because 99% of our hog hunting is at night. What is everyones take on this scope? I do ok with an eotec 512 on my RR but my old eyes need some magnification. The simmons is going on an Armalite a4 and the nikon prostaff is coming off.

I don't think these are out yet...they're all listed as "coming soon" at Midway, date expected is 9/30/05.  

I hope Simmons hasn't priced themselves out of the market with these...depending on which model, the prices are creeping towards $200.  At that point, I'd be looking for something else.  

A have a 3.8 Aetec that I got for $125...it's a great scope for that kind of money.  I ended up with that on one of my 10/22s, more a product of the AO that goes down to 20 yards than anything else.
