I agree with SRM, switching back and forth is a fun range practice... I would not trust my life with it. no matter it is LaRue, ARMS or who ever making the claim. It is always my rule to do a zero check once the optic has been switched.
If you are pouching the EOTech and means you are on the move and moving and shooting constitute either fighting, training class or hunting. I defintely won't go into a fight with that practice. and I recommand against the switch in a hunt, can't get your optic switch back and forth fast enough. and in a class, Maybe if your instructor's name don't start with Pat, Larry or Clint....
It is fun to have to optic for the same rifle. that is why the new trend is going to a varible General purpose optic like the CQT, but Leupold drop the ball the CQT designand it was S&B short dot that perfect the concept championed by our special operation groups after Somalia.
