I want to mount an Aimpoint but would like to consider a permanent mount instead of the locking lever types, is ther a good supplier out there? As good as the LaRue and ARMS.

You mean like a KAC or GG&G offset mount that uses a nut to clamp onto the rail?

Yes I guess so, I have to look at those. I am really looking for an Larue style that does not have locking lever, but rather an allen head or nut that can be tightened and not readily removed.

Well to be honest, you can tighten down the LT throw lever so that it would take the wrench to remove it. This is will give you what want and you don't have to loc-tite anything.

On some of my AR's I do not see a need to remove the Aimpoint, I cannot see the need to remove them.

Thanks for the reply 77Bronc. Why do you not see a need to ever remove them? Just curious because I haven't really heard anyone ever say that. Please understand I'm not trying to be a jerk. I really am curious.

I personally like to remove my optics when I am doing any kind of work on my AR's (as I have a tendency to drop them).
