NC Star. Unless you're putting it on a 22, don't bother. It gets rattled out of alignment pretty easily from shooting. At least mine did. It works great on the ruger 10/22

ALL: Thanks, that's what I was afraid of -- it sounded too good to be true. But still looking foa a compact 3x9 for my Ar-15. Any ideas?

The most inexpensive optic I would go with is the VariX II line from Leopold or a Super Sniper scope. Don't mess around with cheap optics.

I had a Bushnell 3200 for about a year and was satisfied with it. It stood up to quite rounds of 308 being fired out of the gun it was on plus some hunting trips. I did eventually sell it and put the money toward a Leupold though |

I have no experience wit this optic and am actually looking for feedback myself. But Bushnell has a fixed 10x40 scope with target knobs and mildot reticle. You can probably find it for around $200. Believe it or not, first time I saw it was on one of the Barrett .50BMG package guns. This scope came on the gun straight from Barrett! I thought it was too little for the Barrett, but thought it might work great on an AR. What do you guys think?
