I'm thinking about picking one up $843.75 new in the box. I'm not sure if I want to go with a carry handle mount or a flattop yet though. I do know however that eventually I'd like to get NV to work with it as I've seen it work set up with a NV behind an ACOG before on here. Good price plus I'm a big fan of crosshairs.

The question I'm having is will it work properly if I decide to leave it on the handle for awhile? I know they're supposed to all fit on the handle but since this one says made specially for a flattop I'm a little bit confused on if it will or not..


PS: I know most won't like hte idea of putting an ACOG on the handle but I like the option of hte standard backups as well as leaving the handle if possible. I'll give it a try if I don't like it I'll go to the flattop.

then again the TAO1 doesn't look bad either. I see it's got a crosshair. But could that one be used with a NV setup?
