Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - anyone tried a Meprolight?

I've seen every Trijicon, Aimpoint,and Eotech optic discussed to DEATH here but I don't see much at all about the Meprolight line sold by Kimber. They have an optic that looks much like the Trijicon Refelx series. ANYONE had any success, troubles, etc...... input?? I'm looking for something to mount on a Beowulf upper and the eye relief of my TA01's are too close and I'm afraid I'll need stiches after a bout of "scope bite" with the heavier recoil of the .50 round.
