Both will work quite well but the ACOG hs a BDC, is much more compact and rugged. The Accu-Point is higher magnification though. The ACOG is a better optic in my view, but it is also much more expensive.

think I am gonna be able to to get the ACOG but I have to find more side work this month. Can only spend a certain % of whats coming in on gun stuff

New- not clog up the thread, but doesn't the accuview have BAC as well? At least that is what Trij claims. IIRC.

The Accupoints do have fiber optic light gathering to feed the reticle, so BAC does work with these scopes. They are a bit faster than ACOGs for close up work, but the ACOGs are sharper glass for the longer stuff.

if trijicon would put a BDC on their accupoint with the reticle options that the ta11 series has they'd be the most popular scope...
oh yeah... and keep the price the same... |

I don't believe other reticle options are possible on the Accupoint because of its internal design. From what I heard, the reticle in the A.P. is the cut & shaped end of the fiber-optic pipe and only certain shapes are possible.

I've owned both and agree with the above. I have a 3X9 Accupoint on my 270 bolt gun and it serves me wonderfully.
