I am awaiting my YHM FF rail and had a questions on mounting my eotech.

First off do most people like the eotech mounted as far possible such as the front of the FF?

I was considering mounting mine between the rail and the A3 upper (half on each) I have the AA 512 so it is quite long.

Does anyone have a YHM FF installed and if so does the rail height match the A3 to allow the above mounting?

The rail on my YHM FF forearm matches the height on my flatop upper perfectly. The "half on each" mounting should work just fine.

Mine is mounted just above the Delta ring. I find that I have good field of view and can see the red dot clearly.
