The perception that the F model offers more precision I think. Not everyone agrees with that.
I like both. I have the Donut-of-Death TA31. One of these days a precision rig Im building will have the TA31F. |

FWIW, I tried the TA31A at Blackwater and I loved it! Not only did it seem right at home in the CQB distances but it was dead-on-balls-accurate at 100+ too!
I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the TA31s. Edited: the A is the triangle |

I'm convinced that it really doesn't matter. I have no problem holding 0.5 MOA with the DOD reticle @ 100 yards (Shooting off bags of course). This seems counter-intuitive I know. But, there it is nevertheless.

The circle is continuous, therefore you have a holistic reticle, a ying/yang if you will, in front of your eyes at all times. It is soothing while at the same time exhilirating. It brings life yet takes life. It creates and destroys. The circle is all things!
 The chevron is associated with...a gas station! Pheh.   |
