I have mounted an aimpont M2 on a gooseneck carry handle mount on the forward rail above the handguards on a CAR.

If one uses nv goggles, does it work so you can see the red dot comfortably? I have only used a pvs14 or 6015 unit in years past, and every photo i see is of a pvs14 and aimpoint.

Does using nv goggles work with an aimpoint well? Or is the pvs14 better?

Just my opinion
but..
I'm gonna go with a monocular  mounted on the noggin over my dominant eye as you don't have to swing a rifle around when you wanna look somewhere..
I figure it will work as long as it isn't some huge honkin' goggles..
and you might wanna try looking around this place OpticsHQ

.. I'm thinking about getting the D-131 Generation 3 Grade B as its about $1200

and you might find an some advice in this thread
