I had a Redfield Tracker scope that took a dump on me so I sent it back for warranty work.  It  turns out that  Redfield went under a few years ago and Simmons bought the Redfield line and has also acquired the Weaver line.  Anyway, they can't fix the scope, but have offered me a replacement Weaver or Redfield at a substantial discount. I've checked the prices against the prices at Midway, Cabela's, etc. and it looks like a very good deal. Question is, how do the new Weavers stack up as far as scopes go?  The one I'm looking at specifically is the 2X10 "V10" model.  Any input on the new Weavers would be appreciated!
