Your choices are free float rails from Knights Armament, Daniel Defense, LaRue, etc., or a SIR. I forget the model number, but one was made to fit the A2 specifically. |

If you want to mount an optic over the HG's, you generally want it to be free floated. The M73's do lock up much better than the KAC RAS though. The real problem I see with mounting an EOTech on the M73 is that the M73's rail is just a hair lower than the receiver rail. Since this is a 9mm carbine and accuracy isn't a huge factor anyway, I would get the LaRue Tactical EOTech mount which will raise your EOTech up to a more suitable height....
