I wouldn't bother with the nightvisiion if you aren't getting it right away, you can always use a 2nd aimpoint once you get the scratch together for NV

It's the M2 and the ML2.
The 2moa, AFAIK is the 2x version. The non-magnified Aimpoint is only available with the 4moa dot. But, I'd vote ML2. Unles you have NV, the M2 isn't really necesary. Although Chuck thinks that the M2 has a different coating from the ML2. I have never compared them side by side, so I can't say for sure. |

You know i was scrambling wondering the same. I didnt know the Aimpoints came in 2moa dots? If the choice is between a 2x aimpoint and a M2/ML2, go for the M2/ML2. If the choice is set between the ML2 and the M2, I would get the M2 only if you had any intentions of getting night vision at all.

I took the plunge today and bought a NIB Aimpoint ML2 4MOA for $319.00 shipped/insured. They vendor has seven left if anyone is interested....
