I've narrowed it down to the Aimpoint ML or ML2.  I don't plan on immediately getting night vision, but maybe in the next few years.  Should I pay a little more and get a 2 MOA version?

It's the M2 and the ML2.

The 2moa, AFAIK is the 2x version.  The non-magnified Aimpoint is only available with the 4moa dot.

But, I'd vote ML2.  Unles you have NV, the M2 isn't really necesary.  Although Chuck thinks that the M2 has a different coating from the ML2.  I have never compared them side by side, so I can't say for sure.

I took the plunge today and bought a NIB Aimpoint ML2 4MOA for $319.00 shipped/insured.  They vendor has seven left if anyone is interested....

Thanks for the advice!
