Yup - NcStar 4x20 rubberized w/AR15 mount. $35 usually.

Unless they're an 11 or 18 series MOS, I wouldn't expect these young troops to know alot about their weapons or appreciate the finer qualities of a good optic.

I'm guessing that soldier doesn't actually employ his weapon that often.
