Why is the Leupy so much more money?  Are the Nikons good quality?  Where is the best place to get Tactical Scopes?

Leupolds are made in the USA.

Nikons ??? (Japanese company COULD have them made in Singapore, Thailand, etc.)

I buy Leupolds 'cause I'd rather pay a fellow American's salary/benefits
on THIS TYPE of price level and because of the reputation of the Leupold.

YES, they're very expensive, however you can save $$$ by buying them (new)
thru Natches Shooter's Supply or ????

On lesser-priced scopes (Areas that Leupold does not participate in) I cheat...

Try the Industry board. Many of the on-line dealers carry Leupolds and some carry Nikon. I own both brands, but I like Nikon better.

I have both Leupolds and Nikons and I find that for me, the Nikons seem to be clearer and have better light gathering qualities.
