I just tried out the 6x42 IOR with the mp8 retecle it performed great just wish it was a side focus. However I did not have any trouble focusing.

Glad you like your IOR. I think the fixed powers are a great buy!!

Question: Why would you want a side focus on that scope??

I have some vision problems and I am so used to the mark 4`s I am just accustomed to reaching to the left turret to focus instead of the rear rings
