I just ordered my flattop 6.8spc upper and am looking for a scope.  I found one on sale (reg $219.95) for $99.95, a Simmons Whitetail Classic Scope.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good scope or does Simmons make junk, and is this too strong for my AR use?  It's 6.5-20x 50mm AO.  It has 1/4 MOA (what ever that is) adjustments, Truplex reticle, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.  Black granite, 1" tube.
