Since no one is answering you, I guess I will chime in again. I of course sell the PRI mounts and think very highly of them. I only have experience with the Extra High mount and really think it is the best one they make. It is not repeat zero (close though), is a little on the heavy side, but is built like a brick chit house. They are also expensive (even with the discounts that I give). You have mentioned the B&T and PRI mounts so far and are ignoring IMHO the best Aimpoint mount on the market.... C4

Agreed, you just can't beat the LaRue all the way around. What impressed me the most was the QD and return to zero. The thing is beautifully engineered. Simple but astonishingly well built. What totally sold me was taking my carbine to the range, getting zeroed, then flipping the LaRue mount off the gun, zeroing with my EOTech, and then putting the LaRue back on and having my shots hit dead on, no adjustments whatsoever.

Thanks for the help guys, but I'm just not sold on the LaRue mounts.
As long as his stuff is built with that exposed nut design I'm going to have to take a pass. Maybe I'll just go with another ARMS mount? |

I am not sure why you think that you the nut is a problem. There are some high speed, low drag groups out there right now using their gear in combat and have not reported a SINGLE problem! So if it is good enough for them in combat, I think it will survive whatever you can dish out!  C4 |

The nut is spring tensioned. Its not going anywhere.

I've had a few PRIs, and they're probably the best non-QD mount on the market. I dig it.
