Right when I was about to build a Rambosky4gery, I got these photos from a friend in high places.  I can not tell if the photo is just grainy, or if there was some name/lettering "photoshopped" out on the side or rear.   It looks promising, is NOT air-flaccid, and will be out soon if all goes well.

Although I think it kind of defeats the BAC on a TA11 as shown in this photo, the piece would really shine on a TA01 series Acog (right when I was going to sell my NIB NSN on the EE!)

OK, pics are working for me now.

No, I have not. I am sure you have seen the KAC mounts?

Duffy - Check here.  I don't know what the deal is or why Kisara didn't see his friend's post?

Here's another thread

Ok I see the pics now, it's kind of pointless though.  Kisara has seen my TA01NSN + Optima 2000 setup, but none of us has seen a TA11 + Optima or Docter combo.

If I have to have the red dot somewhere in addition to the TA11, I'd use it as a backup sight and mount it on a railed handguard.

The mount has promises though, I'd use it on a TA01, the ears also protect the little sight.

ANSWERS:
1) Yes I'm serious.

2) No.   That topic thread is about a totally different mount, manufactured by KAC.

3) I'll observe the Conduct Code and keep my opinion to myself.

My TA01 wants one...    Ask your "friend", where do we send the checks...

Are those protective ears on that mount?  If so, that seems to be a good idea.  Those DR Optics look fragile.

I apologize- I'm not familiar enough with the Acogs to tell which is which very easily.  Plus, I had just opened both threads in two different windows and I was confused...

I'd think a LaRue product would have tighter tolerances, look at the gaps between the mount and the scope in the first pic

I think the key word is Prototype.  I'm sure if this is a LaRue product, that will be fixed when they are actually put out.  I think Kisara is right when he says they photoshopped over the TEXAS symbol of LaRua Tactical.  I am already saving up my money!!!  Also, you notice Monty and Grant haven't put their two cents in on this post either which should be a clue.

Son of a.......    Oh well that just gives me more time to save for when LaRue comes out with theirs.  Hey Grant I thought LaRue was making a mount for both the NSN and regular TAO1?
