Do the guys using them in the sandbox leave them on all day while out or what? Don't they have a time out feature and is the batt use a big problem?

The EOTech has two different automatic off settings (depending on which arrow you push to turn it on). The 552 REV F's have a run time on a high intensity setting of over 1000 hours with Lithium batteries (same as Aimpoint)..

The up button tunr the unit on wtih a 8 hours shut off time, the down button downs the unit on with a 4 hours shut off time.

This is pre-programmed by the factory.

Is it still true with Rev F that if you adjust the settings the shutdown timer gets reset?
