Anyone notice that on their Super Sniper scopes?

The reticle have a purple hue and distorts abit when your eye moves from center of the scope.

Was it made by the people that annodize AR components purple?

Probably an explanation for it, you aren't supposed to look at  it that way.  I have noticed on other scopes that crosshairs appear to be different colors too.

Could it be a prizm type effect caused by the lens(es)?

well, it isnt the normal color change, but it kind of blurs and doubles?

And the shadows are purplish?
