I have a Bushy upper that is a flattop. I wish to put a red dot scope on and was wondering if a riser on the flattop would do or use a carry handle mount that puts the scope out in front of the carry handle to still use the iron sights. I would have to purchase a buis if I use a flattop mount so I was thinking of maybe saving a few bucks by buying a carry handle mount. Any thoughts??? I do have a carry handle for the flattop.

While I'm unfamilar enough with the PRI carry handle mount to know whether it will mount properly to the "detachable carry handle" I can tell you that without modification to the "DCH", the ARMs #39A2 (shown below) will not mount properly.

This mount needs an A2 upper to fit correctly.

BTT for those who may have USED a PRI gooseneck in conjunction w/ a "detachable carry handle".

I picked up a Tasco Propoint for a good price.
