I want to mount my Aimpoint as low as possible w/ as strong as possible mount.

Where should I go. I already have the Aimpoint ring and am not too satisfied w/ stability. Maybe I have a bad ring or something.

Had the ARMS #22 thrw lvr ring but it was a little too high. (M68 or something like that.)

I want to mount my Aimpoint on my RRA tac ch and be able to use the iron sights at the same time. The Aimpoint ring will allow this but I want stronger.

As low as I think you want to go your going to wind up looking at the base of the front sight tower.

Or did I misunderstand exactly what you mean?

I am happy w/ the height of the Aimpoint ring, just not the stability.

I used that mount on my tac handle and it is plenty strong. Same height as a standard Aimpoint ring. Looks like this (sorry I don't have a close up shot). I have since ditched the tac handle and gone with ARMS mounts and buis.

You say #22 ring, that doesn't mean 22M68 ring, they are quite different, which was it?

A Warne , I guessing the name, Is the toughest low mount you can use. It is a 30mm split ring with 2 allen bolts.

It was the 22M68, so many AMRS numbers out there I can't keep up, why do the have something lower than that?

If not WES, actually either way, I'll be in contact soon.

Thanks for all the help, especially the picture. That is exactly what I want when I am done.
