Just bought my first compact Acog and now I'm looking for the right mount to put it on a flat top.

This scope has the standard mount to fit the groove on a carry handle.

Thx

I think you need this TA60 ($100,00 - trijicon.com)....

That's the one. It's the only mount available that will mount the compact ACOG at the right height. Some use the ARMS 19s without problems, but others find it too low.

Thanks for the info. I had been seeing a lot of people talking about the 19S and assumed it would work fine... glad to know before I spent the $$$

Thx

40,

Does the front sight show when looking through the compact ACOG?

I have my 2x20 mounted on a TA60. The front sight can be seen through the scope. I've also heard the 19s is too low. One of these days I'll put a PRI front sight on that rifle and fix the front sight problem.

Compact ACOG with 19S is .1-.125" lower than the iron sights.  For some people its a problem and for some its not.  The TA60 is a tad higher than the irons.  It gives a cheek weld similar to a TA11 in a 19S.

I had the 3x with the TA60.  I found the height to absolutely perfect.  The front sight was just a blur.  It repeated zero very well.
