Let me know if something's wrong with that. All of the SIR systems I've bought/sold have included the small vial of purple loctite, but that's the only ARMS product I've found it included with.. |

I thought mine came with one, but come to think of it, I got my #50 at the same time, and used it on the spacer too. They should put one in there just as a back up.

Good shootin, Jack I'm curious to know what type of configuration required a spacer for the #22M68 along with the SIR #50. Do you have the AimPoint on the front rail or something? If so would the SIR #46 have been a better choice? |

Make sure your AimPoint is sitting in the ring properly. Sometimes the sight won't be sitting flat in the bottom ring, and there can be movement of the sight. IIRC, there could also be a problem if you have an older #22M68, as changes from the older CompML to the CompML2 required the #22M68 to be altered to allow proper fit. Finally, it would be rare, but it's possible that you got a bad AimPoint. AimPoint is very good about servicing their products, so if you solve everything else and still have a problem, let them or your dealer know. -Troy |

When I can, I always use my red dot out as far as it can go and the spacer brings it up just right for me for fast a good field of view and faster target aquisition. Hence I need the spacer. Good shootin, Jack |

I'm just curious why you chose the #50 which would require the #22M68 full spacer, when the #46 became available at the same time as the #50. For most people the advantage of the #50 is the ability to cowitness with an EO Tech on the forward rail, but it seems like I've seen you post that you didn't care for the "EO Thing" as you put it. The #46 would've allowed you to mount the #22M68 anywhere on the rail without the need for a spacer. Is there another reason you chose the #50 over the #46 for your personal use? Thanks. |
