Well anyone had any experience with a Burris 3-9x40 Fullfield II?  They claim to be just as good or better than Leupold. I dont know about that...I love Leupold but they are pricey. And I need to stay under $175.  Is there any reason why this would not be a good scope on my AR? thanks

For what it's worth, I have this exact scope on my .308, and its fantastic.  But I'm considering mounting it on my brand new RRA Varminter.  I really like it and don't think you could go wrong.  Personally I think its the best deal you can get for under $200.  

Currently I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to mount it.  I'm favoring the GG&G GS1 Fire Rail and low mount Burris rings.

Clean look and keeps a decent cheek weld.

Burris Fullfield II Ballistic Plex......

I bought one with the ballistic plex and on the two outings it's been on it has worked fine.  It sighted in easily and I've not had to touch it again.  It seems plenty bright.  Not sure about durability as I've only had it a few months.  As of now I would buy another.
