While at work today, I went on a service call to run power to a lath. As it turns out the company was Talbot QD mounts, and I got to meet Al Talbot. He is the inventor of these mounts www.hdrifle.com/TalbotMounts.html.

He told me that he just got back from a demonstration for the dod. They are considering using them on the barret 50 cal. Among other rifles.

Prices are not cheap, $250 for the hunter model(civilian) and $500 for the mil spec. $10 more for 30mm rings. I cant remember the price for the picinny rail adaptor, But he does make one. He also has a adaptor for M1's.

Any way now is his slow season, and he said he might be able to do some deals.

If anyone is interested post hear and I can get more info.
