U.S. Optics 4x21?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - U.S. Optics 4x21?

At the fun show this weekend, ran across a seeller with a NIB 4x21 U.S. Optics scope. Had illuminated reticle (tritium with a battery powered bulb that could be screwed in in its place) and BDC.
Seller was asking $100-did I pass on a good deal? Never even heard of one of these before, looked like a slightly larger Colt 4x20.

and I highly doubt it was / or was authentic - then yes $100.00 would have been a steal.

My USO ST10 with the goodies that I wanted came in at around $1,650.00. I am fairly sure that a tricked out SN-4 is going to run around $900.00 +.

No,
It was a fixed 4 power, similar to the Colt 4x20 BDC scopes. Seller said it was discontinued, used to sell for $500.
Had a carry handle mount.

lol, I doubt if a US Optics scope will sell for that little, in any case the closest thing I can think of is the SN12 Rapid Response, a 3.5x24mm scope.
Even a Colt 3.5x or 4x scope will cost more than that, I think the seller is trying to sell you a fake something, because it ain't a USO or Colt.

That was NOT a US Optics scope. You must have the name confused. US Optics makes a scope that is a variable power (1-4 power) called the SN-4 and sells for about $1,200.00 . There is a lit reicle feature that uses a battery in a third turret on the side of the scope...not a tritium vial.

I had an SN4, with the posa lock slide mount it was about $1200, USED!
I think the seller had a cheap ChiCom pos that's worth about $35.

Anyone seen or heard anything about the fixed power US Optics SN-5 ?

It a fixed power version of the SN-4 if I'm correct....LOWLIGHT over at snipershide.com has one...send him off an E-Mail...he a helpful stand-up guy...I'm sure he's give you feedback
