Is the military M68 comparable to the M2 model Aimpoint or the ML2?  I am just curious.  Thanks!

Matt,

If I'm not mistaken the M68 is the CompM2.  The difference between the two is the NVD compatability.

Ok thanks!  I just wanted to know.  I plan on using some NVG with my Aimpoint so I guess the M2/M68 is the way to go.

Thanks for the input!

Actually, it was my understanding that the original M68 was a CompM(NV compatable). Now that the newer CompM2(extended battery life, rubber cap lanyards instead of wire) is available, has the military kept the nomenclature the same for the newer model?
