I have a GG&G M.A.D. BUIS in use on my AR-10 Carbine.  It is prone to moving off the full up position during fire.  I see on the GG&G website that they have an "improved" M.A.D. BUIS that "locks" in the full up position.  Does anyone have any experience with both versions of this BUIS?  I'm wondering if this modification is something I could do to my older version, or if maybe GG&G might even modify an older version.  Thanks

KMS

Non of the successfull folders that I have ever seen locked up, they either can be over ridden via a detent or will give and then spring back like the #40 does. The few lock up types that were tried out, all ended up getting broken when accidently hit, and then you have a real problem, it's broken.
Good shootin, Jack
