Okay just got my new Oly Arms PCR 16 (first personal AR) and have two questions.
1. I have a RRA detachable rear sight that moves when the action is cycled repeatedly. I assume locktite will help but wanted to ask.
BTW the screws don't loosen it just moves.

2. I want to have some picatinny rails to mount things on, and mount the sling on the handguard too. any good ideas? I don't want to replace the handguards though, and the four rail gas blocks from bushy won't fit my barrel. thanks for any help.

Do you want to retrofit rails to your present handguards?

If so, Ace USA has an inexpensive solution.

Hate to say it, but it sounds like something is out of spec, the rail or the sight base. If it's fasteners are tight it should not move, thats the idea of 1913 rail.
I remember issues with RRA rails being made out of spec for some period of time, then changed. RRA is typically considered 'good'. Contact RRA with your model/serial and let them know what your problem is to see if your rifle was one made during that time.

CJan- thanks thats just what I'm looking for. Hopefully they make some for the aluminum type handguard, like on a BM vmatch.

Gotta admit I mad a mistake, my front sight is RRA my rear sight is DPMS, anyways I will still give DPMS a call, see what they have to say.

Thanks a lot guys I appreciate it.
