I have a Preban Bushmaster with out the removable handle. I want to mount an Aimpoint on the Gun . What would I need to do this, Is there a set up that would allow me to still use my Iron sights if I had to? Any Help would be appreciated

The ARMS #39A2PLUS and #22M68 would do the trick quite nicely.  Eagle Firearms has great prices on them and extremely good service.  Check them out at www.eaglefirearms.net

This is how the M4 + M68 + #39A2Plus look:

That is a sweet looking set up. Would I need any spacers or would the handle mount and site mount be it?

This is the standard USGI Aimpoint Quick Release (Rail Grabber) mount between the M68 and the #39A2Plus rail.  Some folks prefer the ARMS #22M68, but I prefer the ability to remove the sight even when wearing gloves.  The ARMS lever is a bit more compact.  It's a tossup.

No spacers are needed with this arrangement and either mount.

A major benefit in this mount is the ability for the lens caps to open down.  And positioning the maximum distance from the eye enables faster target acquisition and transition between targets.

I've returned to this setup after trying flattops and the SIR System.  KISS.

IMHO this is the best way to mount an Aimpoint.

I concure, the ARMS #39 with the 22M68 is the way to go.

If you're [s]stuck with[/s] using a flattop then the cantalever mount will help push the sight forward and allow the caps to flip down,  as will the ARMS "Swan Sleeve."

The question here was about a standard upper receiver with permanent handle and neither of these devices will work on one.

Rotate the lens covers so they flip down and you're good to go!
