Well I think that putting the Aimpoint a little more forward would help in the field of view, but it isn't that big a deal in my opinion. I do think it looks REALLY COOL which usually wins out with me...

I also agree that the further out you can push your AimPoint, the faster it will be and the less it will interfere with your field of view. Worth $30? I think so.

I can definitely notice a difference when I move mine back over the receiver, but it's not a huge difference. For $30, do it. If it were $50, I'd say leave it alone.
