I recently purchased a TA-31A and #19S mount.  Eventually, I want to add a #40 BUIS and a RAS-II to the mix, but wondered if everything would fit.  Can you mount the TA-31A/#19S and #40 with the RAS-II mounted?

Thanks!

Should work perfectly.

Yes, you'll use up the entire top receiver rail but you can do that combo.

can anybody tell me how hard or easy to install a RAS II on a RRA upper with the pressed-on break?

If you can take off your standard handguards and use a screwdriver, you're g2g.

Excellent solid setup, and you have two positions for where to mount the 19S.

is the rail on the rear part of the RASII long enough to accomodate the 19S?  I plan to do this same setup, but with a compact ACOG more then likely. I was warned about the ACOG not being mounted high enough on the standard flat top so if the 19S will mount on the RASII rail it would be all good.

I don't think you want to mount the ACOG/19S on the RAS II rail/hump since you're not going to be able to use the eye relief.

do I have to remove the barrel from the receiver?

no, it has a top and a bottom portion.  No need to remove anything other than the plastic handguards.
