Thinking about laying down some matte black Krylon on my ARMS #22's so that they will match my rifle.  This won't affect it's ability to repeat zero will it?

I don't think it would be a problem, but I would definitely mask off the inner area where your scope tube fits, and the underside of the unit where the it mounts onto your rail.  Maybe the hinge area of the swan lever too.
