Probably posted the question in the wrong forum the first time, so here it is again.

What front sight does the Marine DMR employ?  Knight's rail mounted flip up or Fixed A2?

If this is the M5 rifle you are talkgin about, Im pretty sure its a fixed front sight.

It depends on the model you are talking about.  The protype that was worked up had a FF RAS with a cut down gas block and a KAC flip up front.

The actual gun that got deployed to Iraq, the "West Coast SAM" verion was nothing more than an M16A4 with Knights M5 RAS and a Trijicon TA31F.
