Just wanted to play around with it on the ar for a while.  Anyway, I have a weaver mount that sits atop the carry handle.  The rail on the BSA seems to be too narrow for the weaver mount. The model is rd30

Any ideas?

thanks, fidel

BSA hows that the RD30 goes on 22s and airguns. It will have a 3/8" dovetail mount to fit those guns.

You need a 7/8" dovetail, which is model RD30SB. When you mount the scope directly to your flattop, it'll be too low and the front sight will interfere. You'll need to get a flattop riser mount, like the one shown here at TAPCO to raise the scope up enough to clear the front sight.

Awww, screw it!
I'm just gonna return this POS and save up and get a EOtech and be done with it.  Course I gotta buy the $100 mount to cowitness the sight.

You can buy a cheapie a2 mount for it too. I just mounted mine on a flattop with the Tapco riser. It looks cool and will be fun to play with until I get the EOtech or it breaks.
