I'm sure it's been covered previously but could not find the answer to my specific question.  I've got an Aimpoint Compact mounted on the carry handle of my Bushmaster Shorty.  The Aimpoint ring did not look very sturdy so I mounted it with a Leopold steel throw lever ring.  I'm going to pick up an A.R.M.S. or DPMS gooseneck mount (the only ones available locally) although I may be able to find another brand at the gunshow tomorrow. I'll then mount the Aimpoint forward.  What brand/height ring do I need in order to co-witness? Do I need to pick up the cheap Aimpoint ring? Or?

Thanks Guys!  I'll assume then that the Leopold throw lever ring won't work and will pick up an ARMS ring to go with the gooseneck (#39)
