Anyone try the KNS "crosshairs" front sight?  It's a hooded front sight that replaces your post and utilizes a little crosshairs.  Here's a pic link:

I looked at one on a rifle and it looked pretty neat, but I never fired it.  I wonder how fragile the crosshairs are?

Yes, As the crosshairs are protected by a rather thick CNC'ed ring-o-steel you'd have to poke something the right size exactly into the crosshairs. I have one on my target AR and another on an FAL - no problems in three or four years of use.
